Out With a Cold

Ok, so my secret resolution this year was to keep a visual diary and do a drawing every day from something that happened to me the previous day. I hadn’t counted on getting sick which happened Friday so I’ve already missed a few days (maybe by some miracle I’ll make it up). So here is my entry for yesterday.

It was the day before my birthday and we were going to have some friends over to celebrate how young we still are. I woke up around eleven a.m., brushed teeth, shaved, took a shower, got dressed (put on my Wonder Woman t-shirt I got for my birthday last year) and sat down on the couch. After ten minutes I was back in bed and out for the day. But I did manage to complete Friday’s New York Times crossword puzzle!

Note, my first drawing had me slobbering but my daughter said “Eeeeeeuw”, so I redrew it.
